Prof. Ivo Brosens received the Rokitansky Prize of the SEF at the European Endometriosis Congress in Vienna 2018

Prof. Dr. med. P. Vercellini
Prof. Dr.med. Paolo Vercellini was the first recipient of the SEF’s Rokitansky Prize at the congress in Linz in 2013.

Government Councillor Carl Freiherr von Rokitansky, born on 19. 2. 1804 in Königsgrätz (Bohemia) and died on 23. 7. 1878 in Vienna.

Target group:
A personality who has devoted himself to the topic of endometriosis internationally over a long period of time and has had a decisive influence on research into this disease and therapeutic approaches.
Endowment: € 2,500 (+ travel expenses)
Award ceremony: during the “Endometriosis Congress of German-speaking Countries” (currently held every 2 years).

- The value of scientific findings for everyday life

Conditions:
- The prize will be presented to the winner in person during the Endometriosis Congress.
- It is not possible to actively apply for the prize.
- Proposals for award winners can be submitted to the Executive Board by the SEF Advisory Board
