The Advisory Board
The Board of Directors is supported by a Scientific Advisory Board whose members are clinically or scientifically active in the field of endometriosis and can demonstrate their qualifications through at least one scientific publication. Advisory Board members are appointed to the Board by a simple majority of the Board members. The Advisory Board is not an executive body.
The Advisory Board elects a spokesperson from among its members by simple majority. In the event of a tie, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees has the casting vote.
The Executive Board must consult the Scientific Advisory Board on funding to be approved.
The spokesperson of the Advisory Board is invited to the meetings of the Board of Directors when the votes of the Advisory Board are discussed or when scientific issues are discussed that require the assistance of the Advisory Board in accordance with the Articles of Association.
